Capsicum chinense
A selection from the landrace called kpakpo shito, this interesting Ghanaian habanero produces small, blocky fruit about 2.5cm in diameter. Traditionally used young and green, they ripen to red if left on the plant.
The medium tall, upright plants can be grown in the ground or in 1 to 5 litre pots, though they will need support to stay upright.
