Popular colors, suitable for small bouquets and design work.
A mix of rich, fall colors and soft pastels. Includes shades of copper, brown, pale yellow, and soft rose. 2–3 1/2" double and semidouble blooms. NOTE: Sahara plants are compact in stature (reaching a maximum height of 22" in our trials). Though the colors in this mix are highly sought after for cut flowers, the stems are only useful for shorter bouquets and design work. Ht. 20–22"
HARDINESS ZONES:Zones 9-10. Best grown as an annual.
HARVEST:Fresh: before blooms are completely open. Dried: when blooms are completely open.
SOIL REQUIREMENTS:Average, well-drained soil. Tolerates poor soil.
USES:Excellent cut flower. Beds, pots, back of borders, or wild, meadow, and cottage gardens.
