(Capsicum annuum)-The Yellow Thai pepper is a milder Thai that has fruity citrus tones. It still has a quick hot Thai chile heat level but it is lower than the red varieties. The peppers average about 2 inches long and are less than a quarter inch in width. They grow pointing up and are very prolific. The Yellow Thai pepper ripens from green to a yellow orange color. They are used as a dry seasoning and in stir fry and sauces. The Yellow Thai Chile plants are a compact bush that grows just over 2 feet tall.
