Classic style habanero / carrot hot sauces are popular for a reason, they are delicious! This one here is made with some really delicious and unique pinkish coloured Japanese carrots called Kyoto carrots. Spiced up with our famous fermented Hab Row chiles! When you can grow your own chiles it's impossible to stick to just one variety of Habanero so yes, we grow the classic orange but also red, chocolate, green, peach etc... This sauce also gets a good dose of Kambuzi chiles that are native to Malawi.
The carrots do a great job at giving a beautiful texture and colour to this sauce and just enough sweetness. Like. most of our sauces, Kyoto Hot Sauce is easy for most to enjoy with a heat level of 2/5
