Everyone needs a great green sauce! This one uses an ingredient you don't see often green tomatoes. They make a wonderful sauce and we are really lucky to enjoy a great big green tomato harvest come the end of the season on the farm.You’ll find green tomatoes in a few of our sauces but this one really showcases it! Other homegrown crops you’ll find are smoked green jalapeños, green Serrano, charred onions, garlic, dried Chile de Arbol and cilantro.
This sauce is mild enough to pour generously when you like things saucy! Try it on everything! Think breakfast, Mexican dishes, all meats, and marinades. Don't forget salads and dressings too. Really nice in cocktails. We also like adding it to our garlic parm wings!
For a quick dressing just add oil, extra garlic and herbs, fresh lime, and honey. Makes a delicious and unique dipping sauce if you mix with honey.
